Pennie was born in Greenfield, Indiana. Her family moved to Florida in 1958.

She got her real estate license in 1979. Her father opened a Home construction business and real estate office in Largo Florida.

Pennie worked for her father’s company for 13 years then moved to Dunnellon, Florida in 1994 and sold real estate there in the Crystal River and Inverness area. There she specialized in waterfront properties.

Pennie moved to Crossville in 2004 so she could be close to her grandchildren. She loves the waterfront and enjoys fishing, gardening and walking in the beautiful Lake Tansi area.

She is familiar with Lake Tansi lakefront and loves meeting people and learning about them.
